Product Description
1800 mm Polyethylene (PE) Navigation Buoy for Flexible AtoN Applications
The DX-PE1800A uses a rotomolded polyethylene float body with a seamless structure and consistent wall thickness. The PE material provides resistance to corrosion and reduces maintenance requirements compared with traditional metal float bodies.
The galvanized steel superstructure and tail tube provide the structural support required for lantern installation and additional navigation equipment, creating a balanced design between buoyancy performance and equipment support.
1800 mm PE Float · Galvanized Steel Superstructure · PU Foam Filling · Equipment Support · Rotomolded Construction
The buoy body is manufactured through a rotomolding process, producing a robust polyethylene structure suitable for continuous marine exposure.
The steel support components are protected through hot-dip galvanizing and powder coating, helping improve corrosion resistance and extend service life in demanding marine environments.
The internal PU foam filling helps maintain buoyancy performance by reducing water ingress inside the float body.
Combined with the configured ballast system, the buoy provides stable floating performance and supports reliable navigation marking under different operating conditions.
The DX-PE1800A supports the installation of commonly used navigation equipment, including marine lanterns, topmarks and radar reflectors.
Configured for the Required IALA Mark
The topmark helps identify the buoy’s function during daylight.
Dexonmarine can configure the buoy with the appropriate IALA topmark, colour, and light characteristics for lateral, cardinal, special, isolated danger, safe water, or emergency wreck marking, according to Region A or Region B and local authority requirements.
