Product Description
The DX-PE1500C is a compact polyethylene navigation buoy supplied in a yellow special-mark configuration with an X-shaped topmark. Its rotationally moulded LLDPE float, polyurethane foam filling and internal 316 stainless-steel support make it suitable for long-term marine marking where clear identification and manageable deployment are important.

The standard yellow body and X-shaped topmark make the DX-PE1500C suitable for areas that need to be clearly distinguished from normal channel marks.
Typical applications include:
- Aquaculture and fish-farm boundaries
- Marine construction areas
- Cable or pipeline routes
- Restricted or controlled zones
- Monitoring and data-collection sites
- Other designated marine project areas
The LLDPE float does not corrode like a steel float and does not require the same routine protective repainting.
This helps reduce regular coating work while maintaining a clearly coloured marine mark. The rotationally moulded construction also provides a continuous outer float body suited to marine exposure.

The DX-PE1500C provides the buoyancy required for special marking while remaining more manageable than larger offshore buoy platforms. Its compact 1500 mm float is well suited to marine area marking projects with moderate equipment requirements.
Two integrated lifting lugs support handling during transport, assembly and deployment. The mooring arrangement can be selected according to the installation method and project requirements.

Dexonmarine can configure the main components required for the project, including:
- Buoy body and X-shaped topmark
- Marine lantern and mounting interface
- Power and communication options
- IALA marking configuration
- Mooring connection requirements
Before production, the buoy structure, selected navigation equipment, mounting interface and power requirements can be reviewed together to help ensure the main components are properly matched before deployment.
The topmark helps identify the buoy’s function during daylight.
Dexonmarine can configure the buoy with the appropriate IALA topmark, colour and light characteristic for lateral, cardinal, special, isolated danger, safe water or emergency wreck marking, according to Region A or Region B and local authority requirements.

Dexonmarine 1500 mm LLDPE Special Mark Buoy is a suitable choice when the project requires:
- A compact yellow special mark buoy
- Clear daytime identification
- A corrosion-resistant polyethylene float
- Lower repainting requirements than a steel float
- A manageable buoy for boundary or designated-area marking
These options can be evaluated based on the available mounting space, power supply, antenna arrangement, and project requirements.
The colour-moulded LLDPE float does not require the same corrosion-protection painting as a steel float.
