Product Description
The DX-MB1200A provides a clearly visible mooring point for marine projects requiring dependable buoyancy and a corrosion-resistant float. Its foam-filled polyethylene body and galvanized steel frame support long-term use with less float-body maintenance than a conventional steel buoy.

A mooring buoy should be easy to locate during approach and remain clearly visible within the working area.
The DX-MB1200A uses an orange float body for clear identification on the water. Its raised upper section also helps the buoy remain noticeable when viewed from approaching boats or nearby working areas.
The float is manufactured from LLDPE Polyethylene, which does not corrode like a steel float and does not require the same routine protective repainting.
The interior is filled with Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Foam, providing additional flotation support within the molded buoy body.

The DX-MB1200A provides 800 kg total buoyancy and 680 kg net buoyancy, making it a compact buoy option for suitable marine mooring projects.
The DX-MB1200A can be considered for:
- Marina and boat mooring points
- Aquaculture and fish-farm mooring
- Coastal mooring areas
- Designated marine mooring locations
- Mooring points for small boats or marine equipment

The buoy is one part of the complete mooring arrangement. Dexonmarine can review the buoy together with the required chain, shackles, swivels, connection hardware and anchor arrangement.
The mooring components can be selected according to the intended application, water depth, environmental conditions and inspection requirements.
Dexonmarine combines buoy manufacturing with marine mooring-system experience, helping customers select more than the float body alone.
- Project-based selection: The intended application, water depth and site conditions are considered before the model is confirmed.
- Mooring component matching: The buoy can be reviewed together with the chain, shackles, swivels and anchor arrangement.
- Clear supply scope: The buoy materials, dimensions and included components are confirmed before production and delivery
This helps reduce compatibility issues and gives customers a more practical mooring solution for the planned installation.
The float material is LLDPE Polyethylene.
The float is filled with Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) Foam to provide additional flotation support.
The LLDPE Polyethylene float does not require the same corrosion-protection painting as a steel float. Regular inspection and cleaning are still recommended.
