Product Description
A compact polyethylene buoy for practical deployment and routine navigation marking

The DX-PE1200 combines a corrosion-resistant LLDPE Polyethylene float with Polyurethane (PU) Foam filling and protected steel components. Its compact size makes it suitable for projects requiring a manageable buoy platform with colour and equipment configuration options.
The 1200 mm float provides a practical balance between buoyancy, transport size and installation requirements.
With 630 kg total buoyancy and 465 kg net buoyancy, the buoy can support a suitable marine lantern and topmark configuration while remaining easier to transport and deploy than larger buoy platforms.
Dimensions (mm)

The LLDPE Polyethylene float does not corrode like a conventional steel float and does not require the same routine corrosion-control painting.
The Polyurethane (PU) Foam filling helps maintain the buoy’s flotation performance, while the simple exterior makes routine inspection and cleaning easier.
The upper lantern mast and lower tail pipe are made from Seamless Steel Pipe, with a Carbon Steel Ballast.
The steel components are Hot-Dip Galvanized and Powder-Coated to provide additional protection for marine operation.
The buoy can be supplied in red, green, yellow and other project-specific colours.
Dexonmarine can configure the buoy according to the required marking function, including:
- Buoy colour
- Marine lantern
- Topmark
- Lantern mounting arrangement
- Ballast configuration
- Mooring connection requirements
The topmark helps identify the buoy’s function during daylight.
Dexonmarine can configure the buoy with the appropriate IALA topmark, colour and light characteristic for lateral, cardinal, special, isolated danger, safe water or emergency wreck marking, according to Region A or Region B and local authority requirements.

Choose the 1200 mm model when the project requires:
- A compact polyethylene navigation buoy
- A manageable size for transport and deployment
- A suitable platform for a marine lantern and topmark
- Lower float-body maintenance than a steel buoy
- Red, green, yellow or project-specific colour options
Choose the optional 1800 mm version when greater total buoyancy or a larger float body is required.

Dexonmarine configures the buoy around the intended marking and installation requirements.
- Project-based configuration: Colour, lantern, topmark and mooring requirements are confirmed before production.
- Specified materials: The float, filling material, steel structure and surface treatment are clearly defined.
- Two size options: The standard 1200 mm model is available, with an optional 1800 mm version for higher-buoyancy projects.
- Configuration support: The buoy structure, lantern mounting and mooring connection can be matched to the project requirements.
Choose the 1200 mm version for a more compact buoy. Select the 1800 mm version when the project requires a larger float body and greater total buoyancy.
Yes. Available colours include red, green and yellow. Other colours can be considered according to the required marking function.
