Dexonmarine successfully delivers 10 sets of solar-powered integrated AIS marine lanterns to the Thai Marine Department

Bangkok, Thailand - March 2025 Dexonmarine has successfully completed the delivery and on-site acceptance of 10 sets of solar-powered integrated AIS marine lanterns for the Thai Marine Department. The project was officially inspected and approved by the Thai Marine Department in port, confirming compliance with operational standards and integration requirements.

To meet the customer's requirement for interoperability with existing U.S.-branded systems, Dexonmarine's engineering team provided customized communication protocol support. This included protocol optimization to ensure full compatibility with the AIS Message 6 data formats used by the customer's existing control system.

Despite initial challenges due to mismatched message structures, Dexonmarine responded quickly - providing a remote firmware update and technical guidance. This rapid adaptation avoided delays in project acceptance and allowed the system to go live on schedule, ensuring uninterrupted navigational safety for the monitored coastal areas.
