The National Deep Sea Base is a key national project supporting deep-sea exploration, research vessel operations, and marine safety management. The facility includes multiple functional areas such as comprehensive research and office zones, wharf operation zones, equipment maintenance zones, submersible training areas, offshore testing fields for scientific instruments, as well as port lighthouse navigation and ocean communication stations. The base is responsible for the research, testing, and operation of deep-sea technology equipment and the management of survey vessels and major equipment.
